Tech media sucks.
So we're here to fix it.

A founder-led media brand. We run the channel where SF tech lives — and the agency that films the founders on it.

We've done this for athletes.

Mandel has filmed for NBA athletes, NFL and brands before this. The bar isn't aspirational — it's the one he's been shooting at for years. We're bringing it to SF tech.

Founder Cut's own episodes drop from 2026. Same crew. Same bar. Different subjects.

The next generation

Conquer the stars. Starting with the camera.

§03 · ManifestoSigned · Mandel, CEO

Tech media sucks.

Not because there isn't enough of it. Because almost none of it looks like the thing it's covering. Silicon Valley is where the future gets built — and no one films it like it deserves.

Founders push the boundary of what's possible. They're the ones shipping the future, and most of the world barely knows their names. The internet has plenty of icons; the people actually building what's next deserve to be on the screen too. The education of the next generation starts with the media. That's what we're here to fix.

§04 · Process

Four steps. Nothing spare.

01

Direction

We start with the subject, not the shot list. Every issue has a thesis before it has a crew call.

02

Production

One light. One frame. Two cameras at most. A filmmaker in the room, not a content team.

03

Edit

The cut is where the film is made. We edit for tension and restraint — less is the whole point.

04

Ship

Weekly cadence. Distribution is part of the work, not an afterthought. Every cut has its channel.
